FRED VANVLEET RESIGNS FOR 2 YEARS AND $50M

Though the Rockets lost in first round, Fred’s playoff experience helped give the youthful team a chance to win as he increased his regular season PPG average from 14.1 to 18.7. The Rockets believe his leadership and experience are 2 of the things that are needed to help them reach their potential in the future and made sure to let him know his value to them. Houston also recently resigned Steven Adams, Aaron Holiday, Jae’Sean Tate, and Jeff Green who previously played alongside Durant in Brooklyn and Seattle. Ime Udoka also agreed to a contract extension.
